Thank you for your patience as we use the next few days to shift into a hybrid learning model. While we would of course prefer to have all students in the building full time, we are hopeful that reducing the daily population in the building on a temporary basis will help slow the spread of COVID-19 and allow us to fully resume regular operations soon.

As a reminder, all classes will be held virtually Thursday and Friday of this week, October 1st and 2nd, prior to the implementation of our hybrid schedule beginning Monday, October 5th. Teachers will be sending out specific log-in instructions prior to Thursday morning.
For the hybrid schedule beginning October 5, students will be divided into 2 groups based on the first letter of their last name (please see the breakdown below). Families with children who have different last names may request to have both children in the same group by calling the RHS office. The Maroon Group will attend seated classes on Mondays and Wednesdays, and learn from home on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The Gray Group will attend seated classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and learn from home Mondays and Wednesdays. All students will learn virtually on Friday and have scheduled time to connect with their teachers. A detailed infographic can be viewed at this link: Hybrid Learning Model

Gray Group (Tuesday/Thursday): Last Name L - Z and Edgar Springs

The Friday schedule is designed to allow for more student/teacher contact time and will run in 30 minute blocks as follows for all students:

8:00 - 8:30

1st hour

8:35 - 9:05

2nd hour

9:10 - 9:40

3rd hour

9:45 - 10:15

4th hour

10:20 - 10:50

5th hour

10:55 - 11:25

6th hour

11:30 - 12:00

7th hour

RHS students will be responsible for checking in virtually on their non-seated class days. We will still be taking attendance and students will be responsible for continued learning. Assignments will be graded just as during fully seated instruction, and will be managed through Google classroom. If your child does not have a Chromebook or laptop, one will be provided for them to check out and use at home. We also have a limited number of mobile hotspots for families without internet access.
