Rolla High School's seniors who are on track to graduate as a Show-Me Scholar are invited to a spring luncheon sponsored by the Rolla Area Chamber of Commerce. During that luncheon, local Show-Me Scholar scholarships are presented to students who have been selected by the Chamber. During the 2023-24 school year there were SEVENTY TWO individuals who were each given a $1000 scholarship. As an added bonus, students who successfully complete the Show-Me Scholars program are eligible to apply for a scholarship from the state organization Show-Me Scholars Scholarship Fund for their post-secondary education.
A joint effort of school districts, local chambers of commerce and the business community, the Show-Me Scholars initiative is a proven way to show students the importance of challenging themselves for their future continued education and careers.
