The Joyce Ivy Foundation's Summer Scholars Program provides scholarships for high-achieving young women from the Midwest to participate in academic summer programs at some of the country's top college: Barnard, Brown, Cornell, Emory, Harvard, johns Hopkins, MIT, Smith, Stanford, WashU and Yale.

Mizzou Mini Medical School
Current Juniors
Missouri high school students interested in careers in medicine can preview what medical school is like during Mini Medical School. The students will stay in residence halls and eat in dining rooms on campus. We strongly encourage students from underrepresented minority groups and from rural communities to apply. Participation is open to current Missouri high school juniors.

ATSU - Truman Healthcare Academy
The ATSU-Truman Healthcare Academy offers an integrated curriculum that exposes students to the methods and skills of a variety of health professions, including, but not limited to: osteopathic medicine, nursing, and allied health careers such as exercise science, audiology/speech pathology, athletic training, physical and occupational therapy, and nutrition.
Any student in grades 9-12 may seek nomination. Entry into the program is very competitive and limited to only 50 students.
The application process begins in the fall with a nomination by your school counselor or principal. Nominations must be submitted by November 30th of each year. If you wish to be nominated, please contact your school counselor at least a week before the nomination deadline.
After your nomination is processed, you will be given a code and instructions on how to complete the online application that is due by February 1st.
