PROM INFO

IF you requested an out of school guest for prom please check your student gmail to see if your guest was accepted or denied. Tickets will go on sale April 22 thru April 25 during all 3 lunch periods for $30 a piece. Tickets are free for Seniors, but you still need one to be admitted into the dance. Please make sure all fees are paid and all library books are returned or renewed. If you have any questions please contact Mr. Smith or Ms. Mesa in the main office.

FIDO Leaders Needed

Attention current sophomores and juniors: RHS Project FIDO is seeking leaders for the 2025-2026 school year. If you are interested in helping freshmen acclimate to high school life, please apply to be a leader by visiting the link in the announcements. Applications are due by 3:10 on Thursday, May 1st. New Drivers?

We are again offering a FREE program designed to:

1. Teach parents about Missouri's Graduated Drivers License law

2. Provide them with the tools they need to monitor, coach or support their new teen drivers.

Community Salute to Soldiers

We invite all students in South Central Missouri who are joining the military to attend the Community Salute to Service. The event will be held at 6 p.m. April 30, 2025, at Waynesville High School. Family members and friends are invited to attend this event as well!

The Community Salute to Service will recognize high school students from throughout South Central Missouri who are joining/attending

a branch of the military
National Guard
Reserves
ROTC program at a college/university
a military academy
If you are student who is going to serve our nation (see criteria at left) please scan the QR code in the attached invitation and complete the Google form or email PR@waynesville.k12.mo.us
Students who are being recognized should arrive at 5:30 p.m. in the Lecture Hall at WHS, which is located on the stadium side of the campus.

National Student Leadership Week

National Student Leadership Week is April 21st - 25th! Student Council has created a form (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdhBkq2Mqh6E0SusFZ2r5m5wepEv-Gu4qt-O50rUd1C2zeP2Q/viewform?usp=header) to nominate a student who you think has impacted RHS in a positive way. Please fill out the form by April 23rd!

Attention Juniors...

Have you had your required meningococcal vaccine? Did you miss the vaccine clinic? Don't worry you have another opportunity - Please stop by the nurses office to pick up a consent form. Four Rivers will be back on April 24th to hold another immunization clinic. Please have consents turned in by the 17th to participate.

Google Accounts

Seniors,

Good afternoon and congratulations on approaching the last few weeks of your Senior year!

As you prepare for graduation and new adventures, you also need to begin the process of cleaning up your Google Drive and transferring any files that you would like to keep after High School to a personal device or account.

Your RPS student account will be deactivated as of Thursday, May 22, 2025. This means that you will no longer be able to sign into your account to access Gmail, Google Drive, Google Classroom, etc. Any files stored within those Google apps will no longer be accessible either.

With that being said, I have attached below the instructions for exporting your Google Drive content so that you can either store it on a personal computer, move it to a storage device (i.e. hard drive or flash drive), or import it all into a personal Google Account.

Seniors: Several new scholarships have been posted in the Google classroom for the Class of 2025. Please be sure to check those out and review the deadlines.
