BULLDOG BYTES

March 2026

** From the Principal's Desk **

Dear Parents and Students,

As we enter March, we have much to celebrate. Our boys and girls basketball teams are competing in their district tournaments, seven students qualified for state wrestling competition, and our Science Olympiad team has earned a spot at the state competition. Our Speech and Debate team continues to excel, earning accolades from tournaments throughout the year, and spring sports are beginning practices. Over the next three weeks, several important events will take place.

Performing Arts Events
The Band Showcase Concert will be held March 10th in the RHS Performing Arts Center starting at 7:00 p.m. The RHS Variety Show will take place in the RHS Performing Arts Center March 13th starting at 6:30 p.m.

College and Career Readiness Testing
On March 17th, we will administer our annual college and career readiness assessment to all junior students. Students selected from three options: the ACT, ASVAB, or Accuplacer. Those who did not select an assessment have been assigned the Accuplacer. These free assessments provide valuable pathways to post-secondary success, whether through college, technical school, or military service. Juniors who are absent March 17th will complete the Accuplacer at a later date.

Parent-Teacher Conferences
Parent-teacher conferences are scheduled in the 4:00-7:00 p.m. March 18 in the RHS Fieldhouse. (If our basketball teams advance in the state tournament, parent-teacher conferences will be in the cafeteria. I will communicate the final location after March 14th). We encourage you to attend, obtain a printed report card, and connect with your child's teachers.

Spring break will start Friday, March 20th. Students and teachers will return to school Monday, March 30th.

Thank you for your continued support. We wish you a wonderful March!

Best regards,

Corey Ray
Principal
Rolla High School
