Yearbook Shout Out!

Join me in congratulating last year's 2026 Growler Yearbook Staff, as their book, "Do You Have a Minute?" was selected for Walsworth's Gallery of Excellence. Each year, a small percentage of yearbooks receive this award. These yearbooks serve as teaching tools for programs nationwide. They are showcased at workshops and training events and are featured in classroom resources and online galleries. They represent high-quality scholastic journalism in action.

We couldn't do this without your support! Please keep sending updates as your groups succeed, say yes to interview requests, and share your pictures and highlights with us!

Homecoming Reverse Parade

We have finalized the details for the 2026 Homecoming celebration. Rolla High School has enjoyed revitalizing the Homecoming Parade for the past several years; however, given the extensive construction projects on our downtown streets and the short notice created by the change of dates, this year RHS will host a Bark & Rally Reverse Parade on Friday, September 25th, in place of a parade. Here are the important details:

  • Bark & Rally will serve as a reverse parade, where “floats”/exhibits will set up in a stationary spot in the lower parking lot at RHS, and patrons will walk through the rows. Setup will begin at 5 pm, and the event will begin at 6 pm. The Homecoming football game (Rolla vs. Moberly) begins at 7 pm
  • We encourage school groups and community members to participate creatively, just as they would during the parade. Decorate, play music, blow bubbles, and of course, hand out beads, swag, and candy!
  • Special performances by the Marching Bulldog Brigade and the RHS Cheer Squad will take place during the tailgate. Meet the RHS Football team and the Homecoming Court!
  • Patrons, entrance to Bark and Rally is free, but admission is required to enter the game.

We hope you will join us in celebration of another year in Bulldog Nation! Those wishing to enter their stationary exhibits in the “reverse parade” please fill out this form. The RHS Homecoming theme is “Down in the Bayou (The Princess & the Frog).

We plan to resume the downtown Homecoming Parade as usual in 2027.

THe Missouri Highway Patrol will be closed and won't be testing in Vienna or Rolla, written or driven on September 16, 18 and 21. YOu will need to plan accordingly or if  you really need to take the test on those dates, you can go to Springfield or Jefferson City.
